RAVELLO Bicycles Home of the Go Light travel bike |
Ravellos are built in Albuquerque, New Mexico, by Brian Myers, lifelong bicycle enthusiast. He raced on the road and track as a junior and senior in northern California in the '70s and '80s. In the '90s, Brian and wife Marysue, also a former road racer, owned and ran bike stores in Del Mar and Solana Beach, CA. Both have also done extensive touring. Brian, also a certified welder, started tandem frame building in '99. He has coached cyclists off and on for the last 20 years.
Ravellos feature top quality and craftsmanship. Most of Brian's bike designs are based on classic Italian geometry that still makes good sense today. For instance, he won't build a bike with less than a 10.5" bottom bracket, because it's no fun to dig a pedal when you are cornering. He is a versatile framebuilder and can create a beautiful lugged steel frame, or a striking aero aluminum time trial machine.
Brian has developed the Pinpoint Sizing System after fitting thousands of cyclists during his 12 years as a bike store owner and 10 years as a framebuilder. He has a genius for helping you find the "sweet spot" on your bike. He determines a client's optimal size and position through an in-depth interview and by setting them up on a special fitting bike.

Why call our bikes Ravello? We love fine craftsmanship, and wanted a beautiful name for the frames. Ravello is actually a gorgeous town on the Amalfi coast of Italy, about 30 miles south of Naples. Check out these photos as inspiration for your next bike tour. Get a Ravello and go to Ravello.
