Ravellos are built in Tucson, Arizona, by Brian Myers, lifelong bicycle enthusiast. He raced on the road and track as a junior and senior in northern California in the '70s and '80s. In the '90s, Brian and wife Marysue, also a former road racer, owned and ran bike stores in Del Mar and Solana Beach, CA. Both have also done extensive touring. Brian was certified as a welder in 1981. He started tandem frame building in '99.
Ravellos feature top quality and craftsmanship. Brian prefers to build state-of-the-art aluminum bikes using compact geometry. A compact frame with a sloping top tube has more stand-over clearance and is easier to pack. Brian can also accommodate customer preferences.
Brian has developed the Pinpoint Sizing System after fitting thousands of cyclists during his 13 years as a bike store owner and 11 years as a frame builder. He has a genius for helping you find the "sweet spot" on your bike. He determines a client's optimal size and position through an in-depth interview.
Have a question about Ravello bikes? Drop a line to brian@ravellobikes.com or call (520) 546-1414. Why call our bikes Ravello? We love fine craftsmanship, and wanted a beautiful name for the frames. Ravello is a gorgeous town on the Amalfi coast of Italy, about 30 miles south of Naples. Check out these photos as inspiration for your next bike tour. Get a Ravello and go to Ravello.
